Steve Piontek, National Underwriter’s editor-in-chief, has been writing a column in the magazine for many years. Now he’s online in a blog that’s also called The Editor’s Edge. Expect the opinions to fly fast and furiously. But what’s really fun is that you, the reader, now have the opportunity to respond in kind, whether it’s shouting ‘Amen!’ or pounding the desk and shouting ‘No way!’
The interactivity is what’s going to make this something different and, hopefully, spur a continuing dialogue about the issues of the day. Dialogue implies civility, however, so we won’t allow any cussin’ or swearin’ comments to see the light of day on the blog. Also, don’t use this as an opportunity to tell the world how great you are or your company is, thereby posting a free ad for one or both. That won’t make the cut either.
But other than these ground rules, anything goes. So start checking in regularly and let the fur fly!
